Eastern Anatolia's Largest Solar Energy Plant with Solar Tracking System Has Opened

Adding a new one to Turkey's renewable energy generation investments every day, RHG Enertürk Energy opened the Van Arısu Solar Power Plant (GES), which is deployed in the Tusba district of Van.

With its size that can accommodate approximately 110 football fields on an area of 784.000 m² where NEXTracker smart solar tracking technology is used, and with 138,213 monocrystalline module type solar panels in the energy plant, it allows meeting the energy needs of over 44 thousand residences in total.

With a grand opening joined by The Governor of Van Dr. Ozan Balcı, the Governor of Kayseri Çiçek, Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Erciyes Anadolu Holding Board Members, the Mayor of Van Tuşba Municipality Mehmet Salih Akman, the executives of RHG Enertürk and the members of the press, the Van Arısu Solar Energy Plant symbolizes an important breakthrough in the field of domestic and national energy.
