In the selection of suppliers, we consider environmental performance, occupational health and safety standards, human rights and working conditions. At the same time, we promote economic development by prioritizing local and community-supported suppliers.

•        We do not collaborate with the following organizations and enterprises and do not work with them as a supplier:

•        We observe the sustainability of the materials and equipment used in our production processes. Factors such as the preference of materials that provide energy efficiency, are acquired from renewable sources, recyclable and minimize environmental impacts are among our principal preferences in our supply chain.

•        Local suppliers and manufacturers are primarily preferred as long as they meet the quality and sustainability conditions.

•        We expect our suppliers to comply with the entire laws and legislation related to environmental impact, to regularly measure and monitor their environmental impact, and to improve it accordingly.

•        Having life cycle analysis of the products we purchase is one of our reasons for preference for procurement.

•        We aim to minimize waste generation in our supply chain and to ensure that waste is managed and processed effectively. We promote sustainable waste management and circularity methods such as recycling, reuse and energy recovery and support our suppliers in this regard.

•        We expect our business partners to respect human rights and ensure fair working conditions. We use effective control and monitoring mechanisms in the supply chain to protect the rights of employees, create safe and healthy working environments, and prevent child labor and forced labor.

•        By constantly seeking for new solutions and innovative approaches, we endeavor to increase the sustainability of our supply chain. Endeavoring with our business partners, we share best practices and encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience to raise awareness about sustainability.

•        We constantly improve our communication with our suppliers. We endeavor to raise the sustainability awareness of our suppliers.

•        Within the framework of the above principles, we assess our suppliers in terms of environmental and social aspects. For this purpose, we include the required criteria to our Supplier Environmental and Social Assessment System and update them regularly.

•        When selecting our suppliers, we apply the Supplier Environmental and Social Assessment process and assign a rating according to our Supplier Environmental and Social Assessment System. This rating is one of the basic conditions in supplier selection. We rate our existing suppliers at least once a year in accordance with our Supplier Environmental and Social Assessment System. We expect our suppliers to continuously improve their environmental and social performance. As RHG Enertürk, in case of being aware of practices not complying with the values of utmost importance for us, we request our relevant supplier to take corrective action and monitor the process accordingly.

•        In accordance with the performance of the Supplier Environmental and Social Assessment System or the detected nonconformities, we assess the improvement of their performance or the elimination of problems before re-establishing a business relationship with the suppliers with whom we have suspended or terminated our business relationship.
