Investment Projects

Along with countries, companies take precautions against global climate change, the effect of which is increasing day after day, and set carbon emission targets. In this regard, increasing the electrical energy generation based on renewable energy sources is the top priority goal to prevent carbon emissions. Generation based on renewable energy sources will be far from the consumption points as well as in the places where the consumption takes place and line losses can be prevented.

The entire portfolio of RHG Enertürk Enerji consists of renewable energy sources. Instead of focusing on only one technology, it desires to minimize risks by focusing on all technologies based on renewable energy sources and thus expand its portfolio. In this way, while the increasing demand for electrical energy in our developing economy is provided by domestic and renewable energy sources, it will also contribute to a sustainable world on a global scale.

Unlicensed Projects;

By ensuring that generation takes place at consumption points, it is possible to reduce the losses incurred in the lines and therefore the amount of energy that cannot be used. In this context, our company highly regards distributed energy generation plants. The works of unlicensed power plants based on solar energy, which are planned to be installed on the roofs of our factories in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, are continuing. These projects, unlike the conventional power system, will be conducted at the point of consumption, allowing the sale of excess energy to cover the consumption of our factories and increase consumption.

YEKA Competitions;

On the other hand, in the last YEKA GES-3 (YEKA SPP) competition, with 50 MW in Van, 40 MW in Antalya, and 15 MW in Muş province; we qualified for the right to build 105 MW solar-based power plants and the right to operate these plants for 30 years after the construction of these plants. Our company continues its preparations for the postponed YEKA RES-3 competition. These competitions would help prevent carbon emissions by increasing generation based on renewable energy sources on a large scale of grid-related resources.

Hybrid Studies;

Electrical energy is a real-time type of energy that needs to be equal in amounts of generation and consumption that are instant and continuous. In this context, grid operators want to predict the amount of energy to be generated the day before. Therefore, the uncertainty of wind and solar-based generation is the most critical problem for the power system. However, the use of two different technologies together at the same time can reduce this uncertainty. In this context, our company plans to establish solar power plants as a side source for wind power plants. In this way, the power value to be generated instantly from wind power plants will be more constant. On the other hand, due to the increasing drought, the electricity generation of hydroelectric power plants decreases every year. For this reason, it is planned to increase the generation of electrical energy decreasing due to drought by establishing ancillary source generation plants in these power plants and converting the plants into combined generation plants.
